Sailing with Attitude - Our sailing school and outdoor sports & adventure centre is based in Sydney, Australia. Covers sailing courses and workshops including introduction to sailing, learn to sail from competent crew and inshore skipper to advanced sailing techniques; navigation and marine meteorology accredited from beginner to coastal skipper and yachtmaster levels. International accreditations

All sail training completed at Sailing with Attitude is accredited with the International Sailing Schools Association. Based in Switzerland, the ISSA promotes excellence in sailing worldwide.

Through the ISSA, students have access to a large number of sister-schools around the world. Certificates are fully recognised for yacht charter worldwide.

Celestial Navigation

For thousands of years celestial navigation has guided mariners across the trackless oceans of our planet. In the open seas the navigator uses the sun, moon, planets or stars to fix his position on the surface of the earth.

However, there is more to celestial navigation than finding out a position. Practising it introduces a mystical element that involves sharing the environment surrounding us and functioning with it...

Sailing adventures

"Sails" workshop covers sail technology, repairs and general maintenance. It also covers heavy weather preparation. Hands-on event with practical demonstrations and exercises for all participants.

Ideal, intensive, fun, practical for serious beginners..

We are running comprehensive Introduction to Sailing courses from our Sydney based sailing school every week. All hands-on, lots of fun, on the water all the time, and a great way to learn to sail. 4 classes of half-day each, no more than four students per class. Everyone works at all times.. This is much more than just an introduction: One of your friends has bought a yacht and invited you to come for a sail. Craft Safety

Inshore Skipper (international)

Besides a high level of competency, this programme allows the certificate holder to charter yachts around the world, including in all of the Mediterranean Sea.

Our new eco-sailing programme teaches traditional sailing skills, as well as discovering some of the marvels of marine ecology. We are coaching the "Paddledogs" ..

The Paddledogs is a crew of regular blokes (average age 45 years) that will kayak across Bass Strait in March 2009 to raise awareness and funds for bipolar disorder research. Details at Paddledogs
