Good health depends on a well-balanced diet.

Eating well most of the time, exercising regularly and not smoking can reduce the risks of heart diseases, cancers and strokes by a significant percentage.

Eating regular meals and snacks throughout the day help avoid binging, provide satiety and blood sugar control and improve cognitive function. Eat a wide variety of foods that offers all the essential macro and micro nutrients. Aim for at least 20 to 30 different foods each day.

Try not to skip meals, graze on low fats, low GI, moderate protein foods wherever possible.

Make a wise investment in your body. It’s never too late to start.
